Happy Monday! - I am back!

Hey Everyone!

Weird I just wrote a post and it is gone :( So here I am re writing it lol. So I am back! I had writers block and for some reason I just couldn't come up with a decent post ( by my standards).

I am glad to be back! I can't believe it is about to be APRIL! Time is flying , my intern Emily has been doing a fantastic job and she is getting ready to graduate. Kirsten is no longer with La Mode we both decided that she wasn't a good fit , but no harm done we wish her the best on her future!

La Mode is currently going through re vamping! Although La Mode's fist wardrobe review will be taking place very soon ( super excited) I decided to take on new clients for little to nothing! I want to build La Mode's portfolio and as a small business it is very hard to get off the ground with no portfolio to show. So La Mode is currently working on that as well as releasing a new maternity package so look out for that at our relaunch :) ( exact date not confirmed but will keep you all posted)

I lately have bought new gadgets as opposed to clothing lol , I got the Barnes and Noble Nook! Which I loveeee , I love to read books so this was great. As you all know I wanted the iPad like it was yesterday but due to the hubby and a close friend of mine I decided to hold out until the 2nd gen! I know I know I gave in!!! I also got the ipod touch to satisfy my curiosity and need and I must say I love it.Lastly , I got the Wii loveeeeeee that lol , it keeps me going and going and going ( currently loving Super Mario bros hehehe).

Now with all these gadgets I have had no extra for feeding my retail thirst however, I saw these Jessica Simspon platforms and couldn't resist hehehe :) They are platform sling backs and super comfortable!

What have you all been up to ?? I have missed the world of blogging :)

Writer's Block!

Hey EVERYONE!

I know it has been way too long! I just want all of you to know that I indeed still plan to blog , I have just been having a very serious writer's block.

I plan to be back refreshed and ready to go! I will reveal my plans for La Mode as well as update everyone on what has been going on :) !

Beautiful weather = BIG SALES & FUN SHOPPING.

Hey everyone, It was a beautiful sunny morning last Saturday when I drove into Atlantic City for a day of fun. My excitement only grew at the Outlet Stores; which were already filled with people. After being housebound by snow the last few months it was nice to just get out and be around other shoppers. I had come to browse the stores and check out what was new for Spring. What I found instead were Big Spring Sales!!! Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, along with many other stores, were making it hard not to shop. Coach Outlet was having 30% off plus an addition 20% off!! So of course my day of browsing turned into a day of bargain hunting. I ended up with a Coach bag for a steal; my new "blue beauty"! My friend bought all her summer basics at Polo. After the Outlets we headed to the Pier where I visited Tiffany, Betsy Johnson and Black House White Market. This time I really did just browse. We ended the day with a great dinner at Rainforest Cafe. If you get the chance to go to Atlantic City, go soon and hit the Outlets before all the great sales end!! Hey Everyone!! ,

I feel like I haven't blogged in weeks! It was a long week this week for me , I worked Mon -Fri and I was feeling a bit under the weather. However, I am back and will be blogging regularly so I apologize. I also am looking forward to FRIDAY lol already!! Friday is going to be a fantastic day because I will be able to pre-order or reserve my iPad :) YAY! and some other things that I will be buying this weekend so excited. The Oscars are also this evening so looking forward to the hopefully fab fashion on the red carpet :)

So on to Payless :) , I must admit althought I wear size 11 :s I have to admit I dont get many of my shoes from Payless but it was to my delight when I saw that Christian Sirianto had a line ( though small) for Payless. The shoes go up to size 11 and I was impressed. I have been looking for flat shoes for some time. All the prices range from $29.99 - $59.99 what a deal ! I will be looking to definitely get the black flats which also come in like a nude color.

The top one is not Christian Sirianto it is Alice + Olivia , but I thought it was pretty funky and nice :)

Hey Everyone,

Its FRIDAY!!!! This week went by too fassst! I decided to post this quickly for all the AC area folk :) If you are looking for something to do tonight or tomorrow ? Its restaurant week in AC!

I love going to Atlantic City! No, not for the casino's- the stores! The Pier, The Outlets, and Tropicana provide everything a girl desires. I get to visit Betsy Johnson, Tiffany, Coach (both the retail and outlet stores), Bebe...the list goes on and on. But this week I will be changing things up and going to Atlantic City for Restaurant Week. A week of fixed lunch and dinner prices from some of the greatest restaurants in town. Meals include appetizers, entrees and desserts. This event only runs through Saturday, March 6, 2010 so don't delay; make your reservations now. I am so grateful to see another month , I'm also looking forward to the iPad coming out as u all know hehehe!
